Myles Sampson, 62, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at his home in Murrysville, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a first lieutentant in the Army Corps of Engineers and served in Korea. He graduated from Bucknell University in 1967 with a degree in business administration and more recently served on its board of trustees.
As well as being a successful developer of commercial and residential real estate in the Pittsburgh area, Myles devoted much of his time to philanthropic endeavors. He was an integral part of his community, supporting many local charities including the East Suburban YMCA, Redstone Highlands, the Murrysville Rotary, the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, the Boy Scouts of America and World Vision.
In 2004, Myles created the Sampson Family Endowed Chair in Thoracic Surgical Oncology at UPMC, which supports ongoing cancer research. His friends and family are comforted in the thought that his work will continue.
Myles was a longtime member of Plum Creek United Presbyterian Church and, more recently, of Murrysville Presbyterian Church.

Bill joined Rimco in 1997 and is currently responsible for all of Rimco’s Development and Management Activities. Prior to joining Rimco, he worked 18 years in the industry as a Property manager overseeing a variety of property types located in several states. Bill is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania.Bill achieved the CPM® (CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) on May 28, 1998. He has served as a member of the board of directors of the Pittsburgh Assisted Housing Managers Association and on several committees of the Pittsburgh Chapter of IREM. As a member of the Urban Land Institute and an appointee to the ULI’s Manufactured Housing Community Council, Bill is actively involved in setting the standards and creating the vision that will shape the future of housing. Bill has been a featured speaker at numerous conferences and seminars on Real Estate Development, Marketing and Management.
As a member of the Board of Directors of the East Suburban Family YMCA, he holds the position of Junior Member at Large and serves as the Chair of the Financial Development Committee. He is also active in the Plum Rotary where he is the Foundation Chair. He has also served Rotary as an Assistant District Governor and a past-President.
Bill has lived in Washington Township, Westmoreland County since 1990 with his wife, Mary Jayne and children, Ben and Alexa. He has coached soccer for many years and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Kiski Area Soccer League and held the position of Director of Coaching and League Vice President.
John M. Lynch, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer has over twenty-five years experience in governmental affairs, property development and finance. He is a 1971 graduate of Bucknell University. He served as Chief Administrator and Finance Officer of Murrysville for over 12 years. His current involvement with the community is on several local foundation/non-profit boards, YMCA and Rotary. John began his service with Rimco in 1990.JLynch@RimcoProperties.com
Primo Sarno, worked as a foreman building custom homes for 6 years before coming to work for Rimco at the Holiday Park Apartments in 1984. Primo is now the Vice President of Community Operations and oversees the daily operation of management, sales, and construction. Married and father of 2, he loves cooking, playing the piano and golfing.PSarno@rimcoproperties.com
Christine is Vice President Multifamily Operations and has been with Rimco since 1970. She is responsible for the management and leasing of over 1,200 apartments and townhomes that Rimco owns and/or manages. Brian is responsible for the management and completion of projects including new construction, renovations, and major capital improvements; overseeing the day-to-day operations of A Storage Inn; organizing Rimco’s management systems including back office accounting and accounts receivables; investigating and evaluating properties being considered for investment potential; evaluating opportunities for enhancing revenues on existing products; and is responsible for information technology for the organization.Brian is a 2002 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Grove City College, Grove City, Pennsylvania with a BS in Business Management and a 2007 High Honors graduate of the John F. Donahue Graduate School of Business at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2005, Brian achieved the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management. In 2010, he achieved the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. He also holds a Real Estate Brokers License in Pennsylvania and is the Broker of Record for Rimco Properties, Inc.
Brian attended high school locally at Franklin Regional High School, where he was a member of the National Honor Society and a four-year Varsity letterman and Co-Captain of the Franklin Regional Hockey Club. Brian first joined Rimco Properties in the summer of 2000 as an intern. He returned the following summer as a Management Trainee, earning college credits from the Department of Business Administration at Grove City College. Brian enjoys hunting, fishing, riding ATV’s, snowmobiling, and spending time in the mountains of Cameron and Clinton counties. Brian is active in the local community with his membership in the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company. He is also a member of the Westmoreland County Hazardous Materials Response Team 800.
